Massachusetts Weather – Next Week Will Be Mostly Dry With Above-Average Temperatures

On Monday, there may be a little snow and rain along the South Coast, but by mid – week, it will be dry with highs near 40.

Massachusetts will continue to see above-average temperatures the following week, with the South Coast expecting a brief period of light snow and rain on Monday morning.

Except for the rain on Monday, it will be generally dry through the middle of next week, with another round of showers and possible snow expected on Friday into the following weekend.

Even the coldest days in the upcoming week won’t be so cold. Most of us stay dry, but a storm traveling to our south on Monday may dump light rain or snow toward the Cape.

“The weekend is forecast to be dry and quiet. The next chance of some light rain/snow is Monday, according to a tweet from the Boston office of the National Weather Service.

The NWS Boston bureau’s daily prediction for the coming week says that Monday will reach a high of 41 and that most of the state will experience partly sunny skies. A high of 41 and more sunshine is forecast for Tuesday. The temperature drops a little on Wednesday, with a high of 38 and some sunshine. It will be mainly sunny and around 38 degrees on Thursday. With a high approaching 40, there is a 40% chance of rain and snow on Friday.
