Widespread rainfall across the region yesterday has resulted in river
rises with minor flooding occurring at Modoc on Stevens Creek. Minor flooding
may be a concern on the Edisto at Orangeburg by Tuesday. Conditions
will be monitored for possible flooding on other area rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.
Additional rainfall is likely on Wednesday as a strong cold front
moves through the forecast area with another half inch to inch of
rainfall expected exacerbating any ongoing flooding. A few strong to
severe thunderstorms are also possible Wednesday afternoon and
evening with the passage of the cold front.
